Java Developer in eCommerce

Based on more than 25 years of experience in eCommerce, our client is building a new web-based solution. We’re searching for a developer with knowledge of Java 8 (Kotlin is an advantage) into our BE team which is developing Microservices, delivering REST APIs for the FE team, focusing on high code coverage and using continuous deployment into Google Cloud.

What will be your tasks:

Developing eCommerce software in the cloud - our client is the largest independent provider of online shop software in Europe

You wiill be part of our Backend team which is developing Microservices, delivering REST APIs for the Frontend team, focusing on high code coverage and using continuous deployment into Google Cloud.

Team: 2 Java Developers + 3 Java/Kotlin Developers + Product Owner + Scrum Master

Plan for current work/technologies: Java 8, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data, REST API, Asynchronous Messaging, OAuth 2.0

More information about project: Building Microservice, Possibility to influence the architecture, Code Coverage over 90%, Continuous Deployment , Test Automation, Google Could, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm

Regular communication with the client regarding any project issues

Close cooperation with project managers and line managers on the project

Sharing experience and mentoring junior colleagues

What we need from you:

Java 8 (Kotlin is an advantage)

To know about developing Microservices, REST API

English – communication with our international clients on a daily basis

Ability and willingness to learn new things and work on yourself

Readiness for traveling (1-3 time per year) - Germany
