Info about the project:

Rewrite the existing solution as a greenfield project for one of the biggest auction portals on the Austrian market.

New technology stack around ReactJS, GraphQL, and Java with server-side rendering will be used.

Spring Boot backend will store the data in MongoDB.

It will be deployed on Amazon Web Services as a Docker container.

Caching of request will be employed using Varnish, Redis can be also used as cache if necessary.

Elastic search will be used for search optimization.

The backend will offer secure APIs for the following entities: static pages, containers (e.g. on homepage), categories, products, users, messaging, search agents and transactions.

It will also offer extensive support for search and filtering and it will assist the user with tooltips based on the content.

3rd party integrations
- Auth0 (for registration, login, change password and fraud detection)
- GoogleMaps (for address typecheck and map integration)
- Google Analytics, Search Console, AdSense connection to the app
- Amazon SES
- Wirecard payment gateway

What we need from you:

Proven skills in Java and AWS

To be aware of Docker, MongoDB

English – communication with our international clients on a daily basis

Ability and willingness to learn new things and work on yourself

Readiness for traveling (1-3 time per year) - Austria
