Senior Java Developer (Emergency Services)

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Java Developer for an Austrian client, a leader in development of system for public and emergency services. As a Senior Developer in our company you will have the opportunity to be a part of our internal knowledge sharing group to help grow others and yourself.

What will be your task?

Further development of modern, integrated control center solution of a system for public and emergency services

Participation in the design and implementation of innovative ideas

Participation in planning and continuous improvement

Active cross-team participation

Working in an agile environment (Scrum, cross-functional team)

Technologies: Java 11, Spring Boot, Docker,  Kubernetes, Redis, RabbitMQ, Hibernate, Mysql, Oracle SQL, ElasticSearch, Kibana, REST, Microservices, Angular + Typescript

Team: Scrum team - 10 people (Developers + 1 Tester + 1 Scrum master + 1 PO)

What we need from you?

Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Redis, RabbitMQ

Nice to have knowledge about Hibernate, Mysql, Oracle SQL, ElasticSearch, Kibana, REST, Microservices

General knowledge about FE technologies (Angular is advantaged)

Advanced English – there will be daily communication with our international clients

Analytical thinking

Ability and willingness to learn new things and improve your skills

Readiness to travel (will be detailed during the interview)

Remote cooperation up to 80% of working time with very occasional necessity of working full week from the office (customer visits etc.)
